Kiddie Cone

So, Brent is hilarious. He can be just like a little kid and get excited about the smallest things. For example, I took him to Orange Tree tonight (you buy frozen yogurt by the ounce ...as much or as little as you want). So they give you HUGE cups so that you feel like you need to fill it, and therefore you buy more. Brent fell for this genius marketing ploy. So he got a swirl of Chocolate and Cheesecake frozen yogurt ...then piled on tons of cherries, chocolate chips, Snickers pieces, M&Ms, sprinkles, chocolate syrup, and carmel syrup. His cup was over 15 ounces by itself, and it looked like Buddy the Elf made it!! And he ate all of it. So then once he finished this monster of a dessert, he was like "oh man, I'm gunna have such a sugar crash in about 15 minutes ...let's go get coffee to keep me from crashing." So then we added coffee to the mixture of sugar in his tummy ...he was one very excited boy. It was hilarious.

That's one of the things that I love about Brent. I think that no matter how mature he gets, he'll still get excited like a little kid about little things. He'll always look for an adventure ...and break or spill something. He'll never get bored with Legos or robots or ninjas. He'll always make me more excited about life because he has so much fun. And with all of his childlike fun and excitement, he's still the most kind, generous, fun, and spiritual man that I've ever met. He's amazingly perfect for me ...so I'm definitely ready for the summer to be done so he can come back ...and I can come alive again!!
