work, work, work ....she'll never get her dress done.
This week has been crazy at work. Kim is gone to her camp for kiddos, so I'm doing her work and my work. And somehow Denise (my boss) always decides that SOMETHING needs a massive over-haul while Kim is gone. This time, it happened to be our digital billboard. If you visit the Buy For Less on NW Expressway and watch the billboard for a while, you'll see hours of my work. Amazing, right? But wait, it gets better.... At about 3 this afternoon, I was lagging. I'm usually a pretty speedy worker, but I was tired of working on the same project and I was hungry, but couldn't get into the kitchen cause the higher-ups were having a meeting in the ONE place with food. So I decided I needed a little pick-me-up. So I secretly watched Twilight on my iPod while I got my work done. Muahahahah!! Seriously though, the last 2 hours of my day FLEW by!! Thanks, Edward.
Then tonight was perfect outside. I was sitting on my porch reading, and I just had to sit and praise God. It was the perfect evening: a cool breeze with the sun warming my legs. Oh, I loved it. If possible, that's how I would spend the rest of my life. Except I would talk to people every now and again. Ya know, be social and talk about how great life is. Stuff like that.
Then my friend KP called me and asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding!! I'm so excited!! She and I literally spent everyday together during the school year, so I'm WAY excited to get to be part of her wedding!! PLUS a lot of my really close friends are also her bridesmaids, so that's going to be sooo much fun!! The only problem with this new development is this: what's the etiquette with being in other people's weddings?? I love KP dearly, but if I am a bridesmaid in HER wedding, does that mean that she needs to be one in mine? In my pre-engaged thoughts, I'm thinking that I don't want my bridal party to be huge. But this rule may change that very quickly. hmmm. Something to ponder.
(ps -if you can name the movie that the title is from, you get a gold star)
